Take your next event up a notch with a fun & educational Mixology class! An experience where you get to become the bartender!
I had so much fun crafting some great and unique cocktails with a lovely group of couples’ recently. All of the professional bar tools and equipment are included in this experience, along with unique signature cocktail creation by yours truly. Fun for the crowd and challenging (in a good way 😊) for me.
In this mixology class, we made 3 signature cocktails:
🍹 Aviation
🥃 Smoked Old Fashion (yup, we lit sh*t on fire!)
🍷 Pisco Sour
The Aviation cocktail was the biggest challenge. Consisting of Maraschino liqueur and Crème de Violette – these are very strong flavors that can really make or break a drink. After 4 times of creating this cocktail (and drinking it – someone’s gotta do it!) I finally found a balance that was tasty and pleasing to the palate. Some participants enjoyed the traditional way of making the Aviation with the original amounts of ingredients, while others preferred the modifications I made.
Tip – try the liqueurs first, if too strong, individually dilute the maraschino and violet liqueurs with a batch of simple syrup! Doing so will carry the flavor but makes it more subtle.
